Strange title for a post on a knife review website, but I'm mostly serious. I really do think we should take everything with a grain of salt when we're listening to knife reviewers or our knife buddies. Not because the reviewer is being disingenuous or our knife friend doesn't know what he's talking about, but because we're all so very different. Some of us have similar … [Read more...] about Why You Shouldn’t Really Listen to Knife Reviewers
Pocket Knife Reviews
Browse folding knife reviews with plenty of information on each knife to help with your decision of whether to buy it or not. Includes detailed photographs, materials used, comparisons, sizes and more.
I'll mostly stick to pocket knives between the price range of $50 and $500 but will stray from those prices from time to time. They'll mostly be production folders too but I may also do some customs occasionally. If I do limited run customs that cost $2500 then I would feel like a museum. I want people to be able to go out and buy the knife if they like what they see.
Ruike Knives P852 Flipper Folding Knife Review
The Ruike Knives P852-B folder is a nice chunky knife that's more suited to doing a bit of hard work rather than sitting lightly in the pocket of your sweatpants without even knowing it's there. This is a solid folder with some girth in the handle that fills the hand, so you'll feel it in the pocket if you're going to carry it. Ontario RAT1, Ruike P852, & Spyderco … [Read more...] about Ruike Knives P852 Flipper Folding Knife Review
Zero Tolerance 0450CF Sinkevich Flipper Review
I have probably carried the Zero Tolerance 0450CF more than any other folding knife over the past couple of years. It's lightweight, slips into all pockets with ease, it uses materials that I like, and last but not least, it's a cool looking knife! It's not a perfect pocket knife but it's a pleasure to EDC (everyday carry). It's probably not the best slicer in the world so … [Read more...] about Zero Tolerance 0450CF Sinkevich Flipper Review
Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Pocket Knife Review PM2
The Spyderco Para Military 2 is an almost perfect pocket knife in my humble opinion but I'll try to be as objective as I can with this review as I know not everyone loves the folder as much as me. It's as close to being universally loved among the cutlery community as almost any other folding knife and there's plenty of good reasons for this. At Spyderco they use the C.Q.I. … [Read more...] about Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Pocket Knife Review PM2
Cold Steel XL Voyager Clip Point AUS10A Blade Folding Knife Review
The Cold Steel XL Voyager with a plain edged AUS10A clip point blade is a ridiculously large folding knife and I love it! There's really no logical need to be carrying around such a large folder but that's no reason not to carry one. Here's three quick reasons why you should carry one.. It'll make you smile, it'll make bad guys run away, and pretty ladies will start talking … [Read more...] about Cold Steel XL Voyager Clip Point AUS10A Blade Folding Knife Review
RUIKE P801-SF Flipper Folding Knife Review
The Ruike P801-SF is one of a few budget knives by Chinese makers that made long established American knife companies think about what they were doing. In this price range knife lovers were used to buying cheap plastic folders with poor quality control, mystery steels, and a knife-lifespan of about a week if you were careful. RUIKE upped the game with good design, decent steel … [Read more...] about RUIKE P801-SF Flipper Folding Knife Review
Zero Tolerance 0393 Hinderer Flipper Folding Knife Review
The Zero Tolerance 0393 folder is a knife that I had been lusting after for some time. I loved the previous Hinderer designed ZT production model releases and this little beauty looked like an improvement on them so I snapped this one up as soon as I could. After playing with it for a few weeks I've decided this one is also a keeper. The ZT0393 is a full production model … [Read more...] about Zero Tolerance 0393 Hinderer Flipper Folding Knife Review
